Police searched an apartment belonging to the sister of one of the two men accused of hacking a soldier to death on a London street. It was just one of two homes raided a day after the attack. Teams also searched a house near the city of Lincoln -- which is believed to be the former home of one of the suspects.

Prime Minister David Cameron cut short a trip to France to return to the UK and hold an emergency security meeting before stopping at the Woolwich Barracks.

The brutal murder was purported to be an act of revenge for Britain's wars in Muslim countries. Some also fear the attack could inflame tensions between Muslims and non-Muslims in the UK.

Muslim leaders from a nearby mosque condemned the killing.
