At least six protesters have been killed in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, during clashes with security forces, according to local medics. The Sudanese authorities have not confirmed the deaths.
The bloodshed came during a third day of turmoil after the government cut fuel subsidies on Sunday, causing petrol prices to almost double.
