Tokyo's annual film festival kicked off on Thursday (October 17) with Tom Hanks' latest film "Captain Phillips". The film is based on real life events, and Hanks plays the title role of Richard Phillips, whose U.S. container ship Maersk Alabama got hijacked in 2009 by Somali pirates 145 miles (233 km) off the coast of Somalia. While this movie, which has been well received by critics, is based in reality he said that he would jump at the chance to do something more fantastical. "Will I play a superhero?
