I know we will have to inform them of our upcoming tax return and probably give them all of it. That's fine.
However, I have a relative that is willing to give me some money, probably around $5,000. How long after the discharge can I safely deposit that into my bank account without them taking it from me?
Also, they would only come after our tax returns THIS year right? Or will they go for next year as well? -
