Los Angeles rolled out the red carpet Tuesday night (December 03) for the premiere of the '70's drama film, "American Hustle" and despite the absence of Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, there was still plenty of power from the all-star cast.
Director David O. Russell was joined at the premiere by Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner.
"American Hustle" tells the story of brilliant con man Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale), who along with his equally seductive British partner Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams) is forced to work for a wild FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper). DiMaso pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia that's as dangerous as it is enchanting. Jeremy Renner plays a passionate and volatile New Jersey political operator caught between the con-artists and Feds. Jennifer Lawrence plays Irving's unpredictable wife.
