Lakay is a feature length documentary following two brothers on a mission to find their loved ones after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. These filmmakers reveal the tragedy caused by this natural disaster while also reaching the Haitian people from an intimate and personal perspective.
Lakay is directed by Tirf Alexius and explores what it means to be American as well as Haitian. Despite the devastation of the earthquake in 2010, Lakay shows the innate beauty of Haiti and its people.
