Vectorman is an all-time classic. Destruction is NICE.

Don't have a Genesis? No worries. This game is available as an unlockable in the Sonic Gems Collection for PS2/Gamecube/XBOX, and is also readily available in the Sega Genesis Collection for PS2. It's most likely coming to the Wii Virtual Console soon as well.
