Supernova Survivor - Massive Star Weathers Mega-Blast

A close look by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory at the debris field of supernova explosion DEM L241 in the Large Magellanic Cloud has revealed a young star tightly orbiting either a tiny neutron star or a black hole.
