And I cried out in agony as the stars
fell from heavens bosom
The heavenly guides who had led
on enchanting walkways
to a pathway true and untainted
The path that I feared to tread
and dare not now- for I tread
where giants fall and children
are lead astray a once benevolent
journey across the tireless darkness
And there are nights that I forget to sleep
a mind turned against it's fears and
yearnings all to scorn at their colourful
faces- There I wished their guises would
wash out and that the radiant poly-chrome
Would return and speak true
promises that were forgotten but emotions
that cannot be erased- these timeless
wrinkles that etch Nazca lines into
a forehead that has far too many
A lonely sunshine bore witness to
And in the auto-omitted memories
that tirelessly wander in the realms of sadness you
may find me waiting- for a night that will not end
but reality bears down on the shoulders of my weary soul
And
Had I not placed roses at your grave
I would have forgotten you were gone
