The most beautiful thing I had ever seen
I knew then that my life was yours
Then and all the years in between.
The second time I held your face
You were still the most beautiful thing
Again my life would never be the same
Strange how somethings always seem the same.
The third time I held your face in my hands
My life again I pledged to you
Just as beautiful as before
Eyes so like your mothers so blue and true,
Finally I held my sons face in my hand
I knew then I would love you the same
My three daughters and now my son
The love for your family is eternal and will always remain.
Those faces I held in my hand
Now hold their own childs faces
It's funny how history repeats itself
New life goes on and new love replaces.
