The sun is gone and darkness come
When everything around seem to go on masks
But yet your light keeps shining on
Reminding me that I’m still safe from harms
Of all the things that befell me today
The troubles both outside and at home
None did hurt like having you far away
And knowing I had to face them all alone
Now that you’re here with me
My mind is at rest calm and cool
Not because the breeze blows through it
But because it’s now complete with you
Thanks to having nothing happened to you
‘Cos if anything had, I won’t have been at rest
You are me and I am you
And for me, you’re simply the best
