I am the Desert
The burning spirit
Of Revolution.
I am Water
The flowing river, Rhine
The French, free of execution.
The Siberian tundra
The struggling Irish
Under the rule of the Anglo-Saxons.
Give us freedom
Or give us Death. I will
Not be subjected by the taxes.
The luminescent flash
Of the Thunderbird
Frees my soul.
I walk into the Light
Like a diamond
While still coal.
This is me
Released from this bond.
This is your evening,
But it is my dawn.
