A once in a lifetime occurrence,
Your fortieth birthday is here,
Unlike most misfortunes, recurrance
Is doubtful (hope that brings you cheer!)
So bolster yourself for the ribbing,
And take a deep breath for my sake,
Keep your chin up and stop fibbing-
And blow out that blaze on your cake!
