Horizon painted in sorrow,
Slowly...
Vanishing the red as a colour;
It is the finished hour,
The sunset of an ardent love,
The extinction of a heart
Which had bleed too deeply
As the root of love
Prematurely ceased its growth;
It is the very existence of it,
The unforgettable mark
Impregnated in memory
And unaltered by time.
The sunset red is sinking now,
Immersed in the ocean's depths;
With mine emotions in crepuscule,
Expectantly...I linger still;
My night is coming
Deeper and darker,
Profoundly and mysterious
And my soul...
Clearly reflected up above
In the lunar silver ball;
Full and static
Yet, in a vibrant move;
In its shadows grey,
My beloved face...serene, I distinguish;
Seems that always have been there
Looking down at me,
Everlastingly...
Nocturnal omnipresence!
In its absent presence,
Fevered with emotions
And unashamed of my heart's nudity,
I reveal to it my deepest secrets,
My intimacy of thoughts,
In fusion of understanding, we converse.
In stellar light surrounded,
I lay embraced in its inert touch;
My sphere crystalline,
Cradling my soul to dreaming,
Serenely...blissfully...
Beatitude in celestial harmony
For soul purification!
Until tomorrow night,
When it will appear again
On firmament among the constellations
With only eyes for me...
My lovely absent company!
