It's not just the mountains
Beautiful, awe-inspiring, old as time
Or the quiet mind calming lakes
That they call lochs
Nor is it the many burns and rivers
Not even the majestic Clyde
The somber atmosphere of Glen Coe
Or the wild glory of Rannoch Moor
Not the old towns and villages
Nor the ancient wonderful cities
That makes Scotland so fantastic
And makes me want to go back
Again and again
No, the most wonderful thing about Scotland is
To me, a mere sassenach
The warm friendliness of her people.
