At the age of five
I always knew
My favorite color
Would be blue.
A sense of awe
Would wonder by
As I stood beneath
The giant sky.
When floating down
A mighty river
My heart would beat,
My legs would quiver.
The color blue
Was there beside me,
From the many lakes
To the shining sea.
Yes, I'll always love
The color blue,
I hope you'll love
The color too.
