What is this newer feeling,
this feeling that is softer.
feeling, sweet, little pain,
effortless, slow, and then again.
A calmness, lightly entering,
downy, tender in its touch.
glimpsed, held in soul and mind,
contentment not now undermined.
Relief inside one, deeply felt,
residing calmly, gladly gained.
Merryground, goodbye at last
inside the present not the past.
