I am really amazed that people really care
because their words hold truth -
in times of need they really are there.
O' you saved this tortured soul
when it had been forsaken,
You restored hope that had been fading -
that almost had been lost -
a failed kind heart now restarted.
You heard the silent tears
and doved head-first into my internal lake
[to save me]
thank you for being there -
I know now your words weren't fake.
Encroaching darkness
you beautiful sun expelled,
Although it came from far away..
...You were not too late to help.
