Homo sumi, humani nil a me alienum puto
I am a man, and nothing human can be of indifference to me
So please do not ask me to turn my back
So please do not ask me to turn a cold and cruel shoulder
Abandoning my fellow man
Just to please ye gods above
Just to earn a place in Heaven
Just to earn some untold riches
Is it really worth it?
It is really worth that much, that kind of sacrifice?
Sometimes I think so
More often I think not
God help me
Here I am
On bended knee
Before you and before all I declare and question
Homo sumi, humani nil a me alienum puto
I beg of you to tell me my lord
Tell me please
Is that really so wrong?
Before I can go on with thing you have given to me called life
I really must know
