To help replace the fags and matches
I’ve opted for those 16 hour patches
Chewing on anything to ease the craving
But just think of the money that I am saving
Now I’ve had my near misses I can not deny
But it’s been hard to let go and say goodbye
Some days I’m moody, I snap and I shout
Some days the fags are all I think about
Since I’ve quit my food intake has grown
My weight has ballooned stone after stone
Agonizingly watching them from afar
I jealously see others inhaling their tar
Now today i stupidly smoked a fag
Then with guilt threw the packet in the bin bag
I know it was stupid and i know it was wrong
But i know i can do this, i know that i'm strong
