I think about you all the time,
More since that fateful day;
The day that you were called to work,
The day you passed away.
I'll never hear your voice again
Or hug you close to me;
I only know that I was blessed
By the love you gave to me.
No one knows God's plan for us or
How much time we're given;
You always said that 'Life's this short,
So make the most of living.'
And, while I long to see your face,
Your smile is in my heart,
Reminding me of times we shared,
Precious moments from the start.
