Do not eat crackers or toast in bed
For the crumbs are sure to fly;
And the shortest distance between two points
Is between the mouth and the eye.
And as for soft-boiled lollopy white
And soft-boiled glutinous yellows,
Ask yourself this question, friends,
Are they really the best bed-fellows?
Ambrosia of the gods is fine,
We all enjoy a sip,
But an adage of old reminds us all -
Twixt cup and lip there's many a slip.
Forget your breakfast,
Sleep till three,
And order pizza for your tea.
