When you realise that everything you say can be contradicted, you realise that you are not as right as you thought you were.
Death was lingering around me for days like a cancer wondering whether to take me!
Death stared me directly in the eye for a second…
I inhaled a fume from my cigarette and I laughed at him! ! !
I opened up my mouth
and I gobbed a great big ball of green goo in his eye and I laughed...
I thought of:
Sunsets, shimmering moon lights on the ocean,
Violet shining through the grey clouds
The stars in the dark night sky, fire works, hot summer nights, sandy beaches and great weather, evenings with friends and warm parties!
Tssss The beer can opens and people going crazy
Romantic walks on the beach and perfect dreams,
Bereavement and hope, love, laughter,
camping, travelling!
mountains and great landscapes,
Sex and skinny dipping
Getting out of the hole an escaping,
embracing pain
and dealing,
squeezing the poison from within
catharsis and self healing
preying
swimming and not drowning
It’s called surviving!
letting go of the past
is called living!
Death walked off slowly
and I just laughed...
I laughed and
I will cry later!
