The shadow monsters
On the bedroom wall,
Have sharp claws
And sharper teeth
They wait until
Kids go to sleep
Then start to nibble
At their feet
I’ll tell you
A little secret
About the shadow monsters
They’re scardy cats
Who run away
When the lights
Are turned on
