.Why sit in the pew
counting wrongs
and creating sects
when you can love?
Why live with such hate
when lots are love-starved?
Why kill my feeble dream
with your vague realities;
counting victory of yester-years
which today have become
old-wives tales
Why hide behind a mask
when you have a heart melting smile?
Wouldn't you rather choose
to unmask and smile
sometimes, I wonder why
why our baggages are hurt-filled?
what happened to our love-tank?
Has it become so deep,
that fetching has become
a herculean task
would you sit idly
and do nothing,
when life seems a struggle?
And our only hope is hope
