I watched you walk out the door
But no tears would fall
My mouth stayed shut
All I had was my breath
But even that was hard enough
I watched you as you get in your car
And give another stare
You broke my heart
And proved to me
You weren't that guy you were supposed to be
I watched you as you drive away
And then they came
As if in puddles
The tears fell
I laid my head
On that fragile table
And hoped that one day
You'd return.
