come walk with me among these halls
with your children weak or strong
I'll hold their hearts close to my own
until the time you call them home
help me brush their fears away
help me give them pleasent days
Don't let me pass a needful stare
remind me love is ours to share
Don't let my heart be harded
don't let my frustration show
when others have left them
in a place they do not know
Help me give them trust
that I will always be there
to know that besides you
someone else does care
help erase their fears, replacing
it with love
for you are here beside us all
as we walk along these halls
