From other’s laughter and my overwhelming sadness.
I am from, the love
I will never have and the anger I express.
I am from nightmares of pills and death.
From imperfection and jealousy
Vulnerability to a frightening extent
Along with strength I would gladly exchange
For the comfort of being loved.
I am from a world of selfishness and stupidity.
From tears and tantrums.
I am from forgiveness.
I am from hope.
