Riding through the countryside,
The land so barren and dry,
We could see where the land did divide,
Where a river once flowed which reflected the sky.
The pounding of hoofs on the ground,
The sweat pouring down my face,
As we all ride homeward bound,
And we begin to quicken our pace.
As we all start to jump over a fallen branch,
We see a magnificent sight,
The rest of the horses’ asleep on the ranch,
The beginning of another tiring night.
