I never saw it coming,
You slipped away through my fingers,
And I never realized it.
When it was clear to me,
I wanted to help you; I was there.
But I never did anything.
Then one day you went too far,
You took that extra step, and fell.
But I was still there.
It came to the point where I
Could not help you, you went
Too far. To this day I feel regret
For what I meant to do, but never did.
So much pain and agony.
Whenever I think about you.
I go through this and
Nobody knows.
Now you are gone, disappeared, unnoticed.
And I feel that it is my
Fault, But nobody knows.
