you grasp for hands that are not extended
you offer the truth, you take it away
you believe the masses
when your own world crumbles
to a fallow cornfield where you lay
on a starry night, it is still a grave
but the stone is in your heart
holding the jutting rock of Gesthemane
you fall swirling around their illusion
