if the world could change for us, my love, would it?
we must change for the world.
maybe one day it will be the place for us
but for now the populace
isn't used to love
and it is strange and frightening.
perhaps some day
when caring isn't a trend
hearts aren't an accessory
and i love you isn't spoken
for its own sake
this will all be right for our pair
but now people shun examples
and push aside experience for apathy.
but now love is titles
love is movies
love is as outward as we can make it.
we love for others to look;
our love turns others green.
look at us, loving to be loved.
love us in our love!
love my love as I love you to love my love.
