A calming rocky shore,
Invites me to ignore,
That this is all there is,
And all that dreams could be?
Oh, not me, NO! Never me.
Do the gulls call out my name?
Is it I they wish to blame?
Don't they know I can't admit?
And aren't we both as free?
Oh, not me, NO! , Never me.
The fortress lies forgotten,
The plants sit dead and rotten,
But I can't stop stop the suffering,
My guilt will sit beside the sea,
Oh, not me, NO! , Never me
Beside the silent sea?
Never me,
Never me,
Never me.
