How can one be both?
Given the time and space the answer was clear as the darkness that trapped me, that i saw the light.
Just a pinprick at first but so bright a light, i open my eyes wide.
They watered then dried and cracked but i didnt blink.
And as the light grew, my eyes narrowed because what i saw offended me.
