Reflections in the moonlight,
Settled in the mirror,
Candlelight flickers,
Perplexing what’s clear,
Conflicting images of grimace,
Reflections of fear,
Alone with candles and moonlight,
No one is near,
Much like the standing pond,
The reflection stays mere.
