Eat and eat
Never stopping
Until the pie is gone,
Don’t leave anything behind;
Go to the bathroom
Shut and lock the door
Check for creatures stirring
Turn on the facet
Drown out the
Retching noises;
Stick your fingers
Down your throat
Make yourself sick
Over and over again
Until there is nothing left;
Drink some water
To clear the burning
In your throat
To clear the war inside
Away;
Lift up your shirt
See how fat you are
See the monster staring back;
Your hair is dry
Nails brittle
Easy to break
Teeth marks all around
Your knuckles,
Baggy shirts cover
Your showing ribs,
Your pants conceal
Your shrinking waist
To size 8
On the last hole of your belt;
In reality
You don’t see your ribs
Starting to jut out
Just keep going on like
There’s nothing wrong;
Cry yourself to sleep
Knowing that no one knows
Struggle to continue on
With your life,
So go to sleep
And HATE yourself
