Everywhere, watching you
staring from across the room
searching for someone to blame
for their endless pain
waiting until the moment to strike
driving down like a spike
tearing flesh, ripping open wounds
kicking; uncovering a hidden bruise
finally, for an instant the pain sibsides
nothing or no one can devide
or bring up old tears
scolding, mocking you with the clear
resolution that brings back salt; makes you cry
those hurting, slicing, burning eyes
