I saw you today,
But my eyes refused to look
Your way.
Thought that I would crumble,
Just at the sight.
didn’t think that I could handle,
The memories that sprang to life.
Its like a movie in my head,
So many thoughts that I
Should dread.
But instead they bring me peace,
Who is this girl,
Underneath?
You can tear me open!
Rip me up!
You can stomp on me!
Let anger be enough.
Toss me around,
Scream into my face.
No matter what you do,
I will remain the same.
Not letting you in,
I am too strong.
I can win,
No matter how long.
Everything,
Takes a little time.
And I am
Going to finish
My life.
