You will not believe what I have seen
through these old weary eyes
I’ve had my share of heartfelt passions
I’ve had my share of heartfelt cries
And I’ve said some things that were very true
but I’ve also told some lies
I’ve had great friends who were always there
but I’ve also said my goodbyes
And in the end when the sun has set
I look out at the coloured skies
I know i've done some horribly bad things
but they taught me lessons i realised
And although I’ve seen the bitter worst
I can say the cries, lies and goodbyes...
Actually did some good.
