This vast wasteland
of my empty heart
echoes with cries
of what could have been
Cries that can be heard
deep within my soul
It too, has suffered it's own
death and destruction
I wander aimlessly
in the midst of confusion,
brought on by a love so deep
it cannot be measured
If only you had tried...
