Lahaina Serenade
Meet under the expansive Banyan tree near the Waterfront
Amazed at the anchored Tall Ship
relax as waves roll over the shore
By~gone days whalers came
These days many come as the Big Whales perform the
Lahaina Serenade
They know that this is their domain
Some say there is a tuneful sound as they pass by
Wait and the Huge arch of the whale's back
Ah~there will soon follow the slap of the gigantic tail
Those that live here say
'Maui no ka oi' ~ Maui is Best'
