Sanny was a little motherless girl.
The villagers loved her,
and she was everybody's Sanny.
Early morning, there she goes
for her daily chores.
She keeps the milk jar
at the door of every house.
She greets the 'Mothers.'
The last place to deliver
the milk was a tea-shop.
There she stares at
the cakes and cookies
which she dearly loves.
'Mother, where are you
to make the cookies for me? '
She looked for her everywhere.
But she could not find her.
Then suddenly the thought
Flashed into her mind:
'Oh, Mother went to her eternal abode.'
She consoled herself thinking
that she would meet her in heaven.
