The flowers are wilting beneath my feet
The orb of night-shine illuminates the shadow in the alley
and I am alone
The stars sadly creep away into the darkened sky
like scared children
as The lone wolf cries softly into the air
and I am alone
here in this meadow of dreamlessness dying
to crash into an ocean of fire
where waves congregate
and I am forlorn
where the shadows glisten on my back feeling the cold,
every angle I turn
with not a soul to comfort me
The alley is always so quiet
and deserted
Especially on a night like this
Where the crescent is full
Pealing over the clouds of desperation
To escape The godforsaken place
where comfort does not lie in bed with warmth
but the devil sleeps with misery
in the shadows of my being.
So I awake to a bed of blackened roses,
bones of ashes and nails
and here in this destitute alley
I am indeed alone.
