In my life things keep changing
In my life things stay the same
In my life things are rearranging
I feel like a flickering flame
Who will light my candle today
Where will the next hour lead
Think I know…but who is to say
There may be detours ahead
A warm glow is in my heart
Love comforts and blankets me
This is what keeps me from falling apart
In a world where there are no guarantees
