Dignity has a roll call
and every now and then
I meet a fellow eagle
a royal citizen
She reminds me through her stories
I find myself again
God has not forgotten
as she shares her experience
All the trials and tribulations
sometimes we feel this cannot be
but once we hear her story
we nod and do agree
God has seen it
we really are not alone
God has some how counted it
so yes I can be strong
There's a roll call for Dignity
A pin for the woman of strength
a reckoning, a reward
for all that it has meant
Thank you, for the message
a soldier at it's best
'I was only doing my duty'
but he saw you pass the test
There's a roll call for dignity
for the lady of virtue and Strength
for laying down her life
and what it represents
There is a due for a lady of dignity
and every now and then
I am reminded that he sees me
as she takes me there again
