The wheels are turning
And I’m still burning
With my heart churning
But I’m still learning.
I can’t be with you
It’s a whole nother issue
I really want to
But the world flaunts you
I can’t forget it
Im a misfit
I cant get with it
All the while ur lit
As the fire inside pours
In and out for
A light to turn more
Past my color it soars
Its not like me
To run so breathlessly
And for who to see
With a shadow beside me
Your over there
Light catching your hair
With a glow in the air
surrounding you with care
The wheels are turning
But I’m no longer burning
My heart is not churning
And I am done learning.
