My Daddy,
what can I say
a man like that
is hard to find
he is just one of a kind.
Nature is his escape from every day
to fill a whole that's in his soul
I have learned that form him, you know.
I do it too just like he does
-a dip in the ocean
-a hike on a hill
-a drive on the highway
-a catch of the day
on a sunny day,
fishing takes the blues away
he tells me that every day.
He can paint a picture
and take a photo like a master
swimming in alabaster,
He will make a dinner
like a chef,
and make the best bread
you have ever had,
he can fix a leek on the roof
and put tiles on the floor
like no one before.
He is the swami of all traits
I have to say!
Saturday is his favorite day
he relaxes
with a cigar in his hand
listening to the blues
his feet on the chair
and happiness in the air!
I love my Daddy!
