The gangster daisies on my lawn
Are weeds; and nothing more or less-
But thank the Lord I overlooked this clump!
A pair of courting butterflies adorn
The bastard plants.
And then I think of all my rants
And all the other rogues that caused me stress.
The bright impostors that I used to dump;
Those fated shoots:
What right had I to rip them from their roots?
