Deep down in side,
I'm dark and depressed.
My true inner self put aside,
All my real feelings suppressed.
I'm not myself,
My childhood thrown away.
I put my heart upon a shelf,
All my troubles and fears seem to stay.
I've tried to change,
And fix my ways.
But nothing will ever be the same,
I'm depressed and alone needless to say.
Darkness rains on my dreary soul,
And pain stays in my heart.
My eyes are stained and just as cold,
This isn't the end, barely a start.
