On my way to school
In the public transports
This day when the sun was all cool
But not everybody, NOT the one I recall

He came to me
His clothes all torned
His hands, my God his nails
He had a jar, a jar that waits
Waits for any Samaritan...
A Samaritan who can be you or me

I was standing by the subway
My backbag filled with books
I started asking myself
Do I have anything, anything like a penny
I didn't want to start searching my bag while he there
Is not that am afraid he will steal, is just am afraid
Afraid, I will feel more guilty to make him wait
Wait without putting something in that jar

He got some few pennies
He shakedown the jar while begging
He said I am starved, I can take any donation
Luckly, I felt happy!
My face glow with happiness from within
The happness to know I carried a sandwich and apple to school
I opened my bookbag zipper
Took that sandwich and apple to give him
With a smile he grinned back
He said thanks, and I didn't want to make a scene
I stepped aside get off the next stop

There are many beggers everywhere
I thought America, New York city will have none
A place called Big Apple, the city filled with light
New York! ! Yes! in Manhattan i recall
I can no longer call
But...... I guess
I guess I was wrong maybe a case to be nun

That incidence and many more made me sleepless at night
Sleepless, wondering how can life be without Mercy Al-might
I still see him clearly coming to me
Asking to give him, and it cost only youR heart
Yes, your heart to give, what you truely own
Is not the dollars, or wealthy you bear
Maybe the smile you can happily glare
Sometimes it requires your mercy to help
Yes! It is only by Mercy

The Mercy that save us all
The mercy that makes us all
Mercy that come from true God
Mercy to help one another in life
